Day 4 (?)
Crazy. I was expecting this to take months. Hoping it would take months, in fact, because I couldn't face the prospect of actually moving. We never get what we want. Or, we get what we want but not how we want it, or expect it. It's not 100% certain, but it looks like I'll get the apartment. A perfect case of be careful what you wish for because you might get it.

I think that smooth sailing = meant to be. Glad things are working out, and quickly.
Thanks for all your words of encouragement. I'll let you know when the apartment-warming is. And if you ever want to spend a weekend in NYC, let me know. I've got a spare room!

You HAVE to take pictures now.
I have some pictures that the real estate broker took but the files are too big to upload, I think. I'll take some when I go there, probably next week.
